Cinemas around Woodmancote

Cineworld Cinema

The Brewery, St Margaret's Road, Oxford Passage, Cheltenham GL50 4EF, UK – 0871 200 2000

Wonderful cinema! The concession lines can get a little long when big movies are showing but they still move pretty quickly. Great customer service! Get a Cineworld unlimited card! It's the best! Unlimited movies and 10% (I think) off your concessions for less than £20 per month! I freaking love movies so this is totally worth it to me!

Comfy seats and no complaints. Staff have always been around to clean after the screening and have been helpful when needed. Toilets kept clean and working.

The Screening Rooms

The Brewery, St Margaret's Road, Cheltenham GL50 4EF, UK – 0871 220 4443

Everything is lovely, comfy seats, nice screen, clean loos etc! But please don't carry on serving food and drink once the film starts. My experience was ruined by waiters delivering food and drink after the film had started. Fair enough during the trailers but not as the film starts. Ruined Dunkirk for me and others around my seat.

Totally worth the extra cost vs regular Cineworld if you're looking for that luxury experience. The perfect seating experience whether you go with a friend, the other half or alone - comfy seats with plenty of leg room, no awkward shuffling about because somebody on your row wants to get by to visit the WC. Seat-side service for food and drink (before film starts) - a nice selection of tapas style dishes along with the usual popcorn and bags of sweet.

The Brewery Quarter

Henrietta St, Cheltenham GL50 4FA, UK – 01242 574378

Would be an amazing space if they banned smoking. They still expect our children to breath it in.

Lots of nice places to eat and drink, highly recommend a game of indoor crazy golf if you fanext a laugh..

Theatres for Woodmancote

Everyman Theatre

7 - 10 Regent St, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, Cheltenham GL50 1HQ, UK – 01242 572573

A gorgeous Frank Matcham designed theatre. Comfortable seating, good legroom and a large stage. Recently refurbished. Shows a mix of high quality in-house and touring productions. Cafe and bar on site. If you pay at the box office, there's no transaction fee. They also offer carers tickets for disabled customers with proof of disability. The building is accessible for disabled people too.

The Kite Runner was a truly superb theatrical experience. We go to the theatre a lot (& I direct and tutor acting students) but this was something very special. Congratulations to everyone especially the two 'boy' male leads. Fantastic. Eric and Viv Jones. Evesham

Cheltenham Playhouse

47-53 Bath Rd, Cheltenham GL53 7HG, UK – 01242 522852

Nice venue, pleasant staff. It's a bit hard to find your way around (including finding the toilets!) though.

Loved the show allo' allo' intimate setting - does get a bit hot and stuffy when full though !
