Local Tourist Information Centres and Shops

Cheltenham Tourist Information Centre

The Wilson, Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum, Clarence St, Cheltenham GL50 3JT, UK – 01242 237431

The Cheltenham Tourist Information Centre staff were very helpful and provided maps and bus timetables to enable me to travel to a number of Cotswold villages without the need to hire a rental car. Staff also suggested a variety of interesting local places to visit in Cheltenham when it was too wet and windy to walk around the Cotswolds.

Super helpful staff. Thank you for the suggestions.

We had superb accommodation in Dorset .....the house was stunning, the level of decor and facilities superb and the booking, checkin and check out procedure all very smooth.. This is a fantastic resource for people wanting larger and luxurious accommodation for special holidays and celebrations - cant wait to book our next one - the only difficulty will be choosing from the vast range available!

I found Kate & Toms easy to deal with, extremely friendly, professional and fast. I booked and stayed at Marsden Manor which was extremely beautiful. I'll be using Kate & Toms again!!

Local Parks & Gardens

Winston Churchill Memorial Gardens

Market St, Cheltenham GL50, UK – 01242 262626

Quiet most of the time, but some antisocial behaviour at times. Particularly late summer evenings

Our local park, it is a nice place, plenty of space and green areas, ideal to learn how to ride and play football.. Downside there are a lot of people smoking and drinking which is not ideal for the kids..

Montpellier Gardens

24 Montpellier Spa Rd, Cheltenham GL50 1UL, UK – 01242 262626

Good facilities, 2 bars in the park and play area for children. Absolutely fantastic during sunny days!

Lovely quiet park in centre of Cheltenham. Good coffee shop.

Imperial Gardens

Imperial Square, Cheltenham GL50 1QZ, UK – 01242 262626

Great place for a drink on a hot summers day.

Well kept gardens with plenty on benches.

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Woodmancote or Gloucestershire. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
GWR Cheltenham Racecourse Station

Prestbury, Cheltenham GL50 4SH, UK – 01242 621405

Brilliant, very friendly service and value for money

A joy to see steam and diesel engines in use in the beautiful countryside.

Cheltenham Festivals

109- 111 Bath Rd, Cheltenham GL53 7LS, UK – 01242 850270

Cheltenham Festivals are what Cheltenham as a town is all about. They manage to attract some amazing names and acts to the jazz, literature, music and science festivals which add to the charm and desirability to visit Cheltenham. Because of Cheltenham Festivals there always seems to be someone or something worth seeing in the town. I feel lucky to be a resident of Cheltenham because of this!

The Cheltenham Festivals make Cheltenham a very special place to live :)

Cambray Baptist Church

Cambray Pl, Cheltenham GL50 1JS, UK – 01242 584672

A great church with strong biblical teaching.

Excellent fellowship
