Underwood Surgery, 139 St George's Rd, Cheltenham GL50 3EQ, UK – 01242 580644
My family and I have been patients at Underwood Surgery for nearly ten years. It has always delivered a good service with very short waits for my young children and a choice of familiar, friendly doctors. In the last couple of years I have noticed we need to wait longer for appointments but I would put this down to cuts from the Conservative government rather than the surgery itself.
Have been with Underwood for 30 years and have always been very well looked after even when they are relay busy

Very friendly staff, able to get an appointment quickly and the doctor I saw was very considerate and supportive.
It is good to know that despite sometimes cancelling your appointment they do rearrange it so you don't have to wait for another month.

Every doctor I have been treated by at this clinic has been exceptional. From having babies to being unwell myself just great. Thank you.
The surgery is very welcoming. Appointments are generally available within the week unless you want to see a particular doctor at a particular time, then waits can be slightly longer. Reception staff are lovely and go out of their way to help. Doctors actually listen and aren't sat poised over a prescription pad with the clock ticking. Staff such as nurses and other health care professionals have all been friendly to my children and I. Health care as it should be! Would highly recommend the surgery.

I wanted to say a huge thank you for the care you gave me the other evening after I stuck something in my eye. Everyone from the reception to triage nurse and nurse practitioner were so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. We were in and out in an hour. Thank you
I would like to say a huge thank you to the staff at Cheltenham A and E department. I went in and was quite desperate as I had a very painful issue with my eye. I saw both a nurse and a doctor (both female) they where both amazing kind and and gave me a lot of empathy. At this point I will say I regret not taking there names as they both deserve recognition for they way they work. They sorted my problem very quickly and I feel much better now. There is talk in the new about the NHS being broken. I can testify that it is not. The people I’ve referred to are what is keeping it going. #NHSNOTBROKEN #NHSSTAFFARESIANTS #IMSOGREATFULL keep going guys! 👍👍
