Location is excellent, right in the city centre. Staff friendly. Very basic rooms but mine was clean and the bed very comfortable. Ok for an overnight stay on a budget.
Lovely place, good location, comfy beds and coffee so I'm happy

Beautiful setting, the staff were polite, friendly, helpful and had personality which made our stay wonderful. The food at the bar restaurant was very good, probably the best fish and chips I've ever had! The outdoor pool is heated to 28 degrees C which makes it lovely any time of day. Highly recommended it. The only let down was the breakfast. We had high expectations after lunch and dinner the previous day. The bacon was boiled! Yuck. But other than that, amazing place. Would probably stay again if we found a good deal.
Excellent standards, but given it's a five star hotel no surprise really. Staff very friendly and attentive but not too much. Thank you.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel for a night's stay, and if you're lucky for longer stays. This time I had a tiny room, where I could barely squeeze into the shower. Tall people would have really struggled. However, in the past, I've had huge rooms. It does strike me as a little posh, which makes me feel self conscious, but the staff are all friendly. In my experience, it's expensive for what it is.
Good hotel. Staff are very friendly, rooms are nice (although size can be variable depending which floor you're on), location is very good in Cheltenham and the food is nice. Breakfast is nice and the continental (which most people seem to be having) is worth adding to your room rate if it's not already included. Good for business travellers or couples.

Visited in October 2017 - thought food was above average and good value for money. The menu presented more interesting versions of pub classics/mainstays. Staff were friendly and polite throughout, will visit again.
The food is not as good as it was 12 months ago. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the staff friendly. It needs a bit of a shake up to get back to the heights it once had

I hesitate before reviewing The Strand. I really want to keep this place to myself! Recently refurbished to a very high standard, it's a cracking place. Good real ale and cider, lovely staff, good food, pleasant atmosphere and a great beer garden. To update, still a fabulous place. The beer quality is super..
Good selection of beer and a nice menu. Food was good. Ordered a fish finger wrap and it was really notice. Good beer garden that gets the sun at the rear.

The beehive is a great pub to get beer. It has a relaxed atmosphere with a good selection. They also have quite a few whiskys and gins. The food is good but I have noticed it can be a bit slow at lunch times.
Great food, great drink very modestly priced. Lovely wood burning fireplace and cute little beer garden. Must recommend..

We had a lovely view over the garden from a ground floor bedroom.
Warm and friendly welcome, comfy rooms, beautiful grounds, tasty and generous breakfast. Everything a good B&B should be.

Such a beautiful place, a nice welcome, a beautiful four poster room with large NetSuite,. We spent the evening down in the lounge, loads of old curios, and complimentary cakes, and reading the many books there.. The room was beautiful, Four poster is very comfy, couldn't fault anything. The breakfast was lovely, we opted for the full English, and a buffet bar for cereals, fruit, yogurt, croissants.. This small hotel is beautiful, with loads of character and soul..and such friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend, and will be coming here again.. Thank you for making our stay a special one.. :-)
Location is excellent, walking distance to everything. The rooms on the website looked grander than they did in person and didn't feel like it was a 5 star hotel, or worth the price paid. Breakfast also took a long time to arrive which made us leave late. However, it was still a comfortable stay and the host/owner was very nice.

The room was immaculate, the breakfast was delicious (homemade croissants!), and the owners were lovely. Would highly recommend staying here and taking a walk down to the Royal Oak for dinner.
Absolutely wonderful weekend at the Walnut Store with my sister. Beautiful accommodation and the hosts Tom and Sally could not do enough, Breakfast fantastic pool superb and the surrounding area delightful. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Will definitely return .
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

The Highlands was an incredible cottage. We had a fabulous weekend. It was perfect for 10 people with a dog, and we loved the added bonus of the tennis court. The house had everything we needed; it had so much space; very clean and very well stocked. The gardens were amazing. Definitely 5 stars! What a great place in a beautiful part of East Sussex.
We were impressed with the accommodation and the service of our hosts at the club room. The park is great and with access at all times, with the use of the buggies made all the difference. The work that the park undertake with regards to the breeding of endangered species can only be fully supported. Would recommend more then one night, we stayed four nights.

Very convenient for Cheltenham Park and Ride. You will be charged even if you have a National Bus Pass from the Park and Ride stop.....however if you catch the bus, e.g. at the Evesham Road stop round the corner, no charge. Nice friendly staff here, great views to the hills over the racecourse.
Really weird feeling when you drive in compared to other C&MC sites given it's location and the location of some pitches. Given a choice of pitches. Facilities spacious but not the best I have experienced. Public transport to town from the Park & Ride 200 metres away. If you have a bus pass walk to the next stop into town. (Racecourse Roundabout Stop ID: glodtjmt at the top end of Evesham Road) There is a £1 charge for bus pass holders at the P&R.
