Local Bookshops

Waterstones

33-41 Promenade, Cheltenham GL50 1LE, UK – 01242 571779

Really pleasant shop, chilled out, good selection of books. I really like the personal reviews that the staff have written alongside some of the books. Nice coffee shop too.

About as good as a Waterstones gets, aside from the books it is in a nice building with a reasonable grand staircase that leads to the coffee and terrace

Oxfam Bookshop

31 Cambray Pl, Cheltenham GL50 1JP, UK – 01242 511650

Decent enough secondhand bookshop. The way some of the books are piled up makes it very hard to see what's there. I like the Red Cross bookshop in Cheltenham much better.

Love this shop, wide selection, staff so helpful, always has an offer on fiction 3 for £5

The Works Cheltenham

101 High St, Cheltenham GL50 1DP, UK – 01242 251572

They have the funniest lamb toys out for Easter with some ducks which makes me laugh all the time. Great selection of books and other useful items

Great to browse and pick up bargains for my daughter
